Welcome to West Middlesex Area Junior-Senior High School. WMHS serves approximately 400 students in grades 7-12.  WMHS offers a developmentally sound educational environment for our 7th and 8th graders in our Middle School Wing.  Students in the middle school program participate in Unified Blocks.  Each course is 9-weeks in length and meets one period per day.  These courses serve to strengthen the general education of all students, provide an exposure to a variety of content areas, and work as a segway into students identifying their interests prior to scheduling their high school classes.

The 9-12 high school program includes the opportunity to take college courses through the University of Pittsburgh, Seton Hill University, LaRoche University and Thiel College.  All of these courses are offered at the high school through our College in High School (CHS) Program.  Students can also participate in a Dual Enrollment program with a local university or college.  Students also have the opportunity to pursue career-based opportunities through our Manufacturing Internship, the Mercer County Career Center and eAcademy.  Seniors also have the option to participate in Work Release, pending administrative approval.

In addition to our educational programs, WMHS offers a comprehensive athletic department and a proud tradition in music and the arts.  WMHS continues to strive to educate the whole child, as we focus on the district mission to equip all students for successful futures in an ever-changing society.

We are proud to be Big Reds!
